S-hooks are metal clasps used to attach haori himo (a cord worn with a traditional Japanese jacket) to a haori.
How about using them for handmade haori himo?
The opening can be adjusted with pliers.
Please open them slightly yourself before use.
These are the clasps often used on expensive haori himo from the past.
They still give the impression of being used on high-end items today.
Suitable for both men and women.
They are used by hooking them onto the chin (loops) of a haori.
While many people now use lobster clasps, these are recommended for those who find it cumbersome to pinch small lobster clasps.
They are less likely to damage the haori's loops.
Easier to attach and detach than lobster clasps.
Also suitable for haori, and for hakama worn during Shichi-Go-San (Children's Day) and graduation ceremonies.
As this is a bargain item, there are no bulk discounts.
Gold color is also available (see last photo for reference).
