This Satsuma ware features a soft cream-colored base with characteristic kannyu (craquelure) crackle patterns. Exquisite gold accents and vibrant depictions of seasonal flowers are meticulously painted.
The sake flask has a very rare flat shape, and the bamboo handle adds a touch of traditional charm.
This exquisite set is perfect for serving Toso-ki (New Year's celebratory sake) during New Year's or special occasions, and it will also add a touch of elegance to any space simply as a decorative piece.
