This is a brand new, unused, fully tailored Michiyuki coat made of luxurious pure silk, still with basting threads attached. It was custom-made but I am selling it as I have no opportunity to wear it. It can also be used for kimono dressing practice or as material for handmade items.
The rich, warm color is flattering and complements various kimonos, whether dark or light. It will look lovely when worn.
Includes a fabric scrap from the time of tailoring.
Pairs well with kimonos and obi from brands like Shimakame, Masuiwaya, Hideya, Eriman, and Kineya. Perfect for casual outings, attending Kabuki or other theater performances, and dining out. This is a timeless piece that can be worn widely by people of all ages. I hope to pass it on to someone who will use it beautifully.
