This is a single piece of lacquerware guinomi (sake cup) with a design by Yanagiyama from the Wajima region.Yanagiyama is a lacquerware region located in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Wajima lacquerware is known as one of Japan's three major lacquerware types, and Yanagiyama is one of the regions that make up its production area. Wajima lacquerware is produced in Wajima City, located in the northwestern part of the Noto Peninsula, and has a long history of lacquer products. This is a lovely black sake cup with a chrysanthemum (probably) design, which is also depicted on the inside.
