Matsumoto Mingei Furniture is based on the traditional furniture-making of Matsumoto.
Matsumoto has a history of thriving furniture production for over 400 years, and even today, it is manufactured almost entirely by hand.
The unique luster and color, created by skilled craftsmanship shaping difficult-to-process Mizumezakura wood and multiple layers of paint, are its charm.
Furthermore, with the concept of creating a one-of-a-kind beauty through use by the owner, it can be loved and used for a long time with maintenance.
This shoe cabinet is a masterpiece made from Mizumezakura innocence, finished with a rich, deep color.
The construction is also sturdy, excelling not only in beauty but also in practicality.
It can store rain boots, long umbrellas, and canes.
Placing furniture like this in the entrance, the face of your home, elevates its dignity.
We highly recommend it.
