This is Arimatsu Shibori itajime mame shibori fabric. A dotted pattern created by artisan's hand-dyeing.
How about using it for Hand towels, handmade items, or remakes?
The irregular polka dot pattern is unique to hand-dyeing. The indigo-dyed mame shibori pattern on cotton is truly lovely.
It is approximately twice the length of a regular Hand towel.
Sousou also sells this Hand towel, but their approximately 1m Hand towel size costs 2280 yen.

Nowadays, only Harumasa still makes mame shibori using the traditional itajime technique, and this was purchased from Harumasa. It is a rare item that is difficult to obtain. Please use it for remakes, handmade items, and accessory making.
