When placed upside down, it displays the natural form of Mt. Fuji, and when sake is poured in, you can enjoy the reverse Mt. Fuji view, a sophisticated design.
■ Product Description (Quoted from Official Website)
This is an original celebration cup that reveals a blue Mt. Fuji with snow-capped peaks when placed upside down. The lapis lazuli overlay glass used is made by layering a thin colored glass over clear glass, and each piece is hand-blown by artisans. The snow on the summit is realistically depicted using sandblasting (engraved glass). This product received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the 54th National Recommended Tourist Souvenir Contest.
