Hiroshima Prefecture Ryuto Mountain Foothills Free-Range Fertilized Eggs, 50 Count

Free-range fertilized eggs from the foot of Mt. Ryuto, Kita-Hiroshima Town, Hiroshima Prefecture

?Assorted Egg Set

We will send you 50 eggs.
They will be shipped in molded pulp cartons.
We raise 30 Gotomomiji, 30 Sakura, and 30 Okazaki Ou-han chickens.
Their feed consists mainly of rice, bran, and vegetables from our farm. They are not given synthetic feed, hormones, vitamin supplements, antibiotics, or corn. In the afternoon, they are freely allowed to roam outdoors under the open sky, living a low-stress life.
The eggshells are hard. Both the egg white and yolk are firm. Due to their rice-based diet, the yolk color is a light yellow.
We do not have egg inspection machinery, so occasionally you may find eggs with no yolk, double yolks, or traces of blood. Please be aware of this.
We ship the eggs unwashed. This is because washing removes the egg's natural protective layer (cuticle). We will lightly wipe off any dirt with a towel, but if you are concerned, please wash them yourself before storing.

These eggs are listed when we have a surplus beyond our own consumption and local sales.
They will be shipped via Yu-Pack. We generally ship the day after the eggs are laid. It may take some time before shipping. Eggs are very fragile. We take great care, but some cracking may occur upon arrival. Please cook them thoroughly before eating.
If you have any questions, please ask before purchasing.

Storage: Store in a cool place.
Usage: For raw consumption, please use within the expiration date. After the expiration date, please cook thoroughly.
Expiration Date: 2 weeks from the date of laying. The laying date is indicated on the enclosed flyer.

We have confirmed that a permit from the public health center is not required for the sale of chicken eggs.
