Shoichiro Ohba Vertical Saw Rare Item
299.00 $
Description
■Hand-saw made by Shoichiro Ohba
■The back of the blade is engraved with what appears to be the manufacturing date (July, Showa 59, which is 1984).
■I work in woodworking, but I am selling this item as part of a decluttering effort. Looking at other sites, listings for this model are rare, and I believe it to be a very scarce item.
■There are no chips or rust on the blade. It cuts very well. The sound when flicking the steel with a fingernail is high and clear. Please refer to the photos for the condition. The black paint at the handle's connection is black lacquer for rust prevention. The handle is made of zelkova.
