This white sesame oil is made by roasting sesame seeds over a wood fire in a kettle and then cold-pressing them for the first extraction.
The oil is unrefined and is simply filtered through handmade Japanese paper, without the use of any additives or chemicals (such as caustic soda or oxalic acid).
Drizzle a little over stir-fries or miso soup for a wonderful aroma.
It's also delicious used raw in dressings.
