[Background of Creation]
My beloved cat had surgery to remove a mammary gland lump and needed to wear post-operative clothing to protect the wound. I didn't know what to get, so I bought one from the hospital, but it was ￥4,000 + tax per piece! It looked comfortable, but it was expensive!
My cat likes to groom and was bothered by the wound, so it chewed on the clothes!
The fabric became tattered. I patched it up.
In the end, I bought 3 pieces. During that time, I saw simple post-operative clothes online that could be made easily, and I tried making some by remaking clothes sold at 100-yen shops, but after much trial and error.
In the end, I couldn't make anything comfortable and just bought from the hospital.

I realized that even around the abdomen, depending on the location of the wound, if it's near the groin, you need something stretchy and form-fitting, otherwise, it won't accommodate a cat's stretching and contracting body.
I wondered how everyone else copes with this...
Good things have a reason. I made this based on the post-operative clothing purchased from the hospital.
We focused on a certain degree of stretch and an open back for ease of movement, and replacements are essential.
