This is a very easy-to-make stick-shaped shiratama mochi. It's simple, soft, smooth, and delicious!
Just cut into 1-1.5 cm pieces, drop into boiling water, and boil for 1-2 minutes! They float up surprisingly quickly.
Of course, it's great with classic red bean paste or kinako (roasted soybean flour) (^^)d. You can also make fruit shiratama, or add it directly to soup for an ozoni-style dish ???. Many other arrangements are possible!
