Maruboshi Ramen Rich Tonkotsu Kurume Ramen

After a long time, I was able to encounter the rich tonkotsu of authentic Kurume ramen!!

Sanpo Foods, known for its roasted pork ramen, has created this rich tonkotsu ramen under the supervision of Kurume Maruboshi Ramen. It's exquisite!!

It's a rich ramen, yet light! It's not heavy even after you finish eating!!

This is a famous 24-hour drive-in style ramen shop. As those who have been there know, it's a super long-established restaurant founded in 1958, making it over 50 years old. The storefront is truly, truly old. But that's what gives it its great flavor! This shop has a rich taste! The soup is so rich it's almost wild. One sip of the soup... you'll feel a gritty texture and a powerful richness!! The initial rich flavor mellows as you drink it, spreading through your mouth with a deep complexity. Is this flavor change the magic of a soup that's been continuously simmered for 50 years?! Despite being so rich and thick, you can hardly detect any porky smell or unpleasantness! And surprisingly, the aftertaste is so refreshing... The noodles are medium-thick and slightly soft. When you lift the weighty noodles, the soup clings to them perfectly!! These thick noodles are a perfect match for the rich soup!
