This is a mini shikishi (Japanese art board) paper collage kit featuring Anthurium, used in the washi paper collage class hosted by my aunt. It's easy to make!

The flower language of Anthurium is passion and unadorned beauty. Perfect for a summery atmosphere or for those who love Hawaii!

??The washi paper may have some wrinkles, but some are inherent to the material. They can be smoothed out when pasted with glue. This will not affect the creation of your artwork.
Depending on the dyeing process of the washi paper, there may be slight color differences from the example. Some areas may appear as stains or sunspots.

????How to Make????
1. Trace the design from the included sketch onto the tracing paper. Use a pointed tool like a stylus to trace over it, leaving an impression on the washi paper. If you're new to this, you can also make marks on the shikishi to clearly indicate where to paste. (Water-erasable chalk paper can also be used.)

2. Tear the washi paper and pull out the fibers. (The degree of pulling is up to your preference. You can also paste it onto the base and then pull out the fibers with a damp brush.) For fine details or difficult-to-cut areas, try using a craft knife or scissors.

3. Using glue for paper collage or washi paper collage, or Yamato glue diluted slightly with water, paste the washi paper onto the shikishi while referring to the example color copy. (Using a brush will make it easier to paste.)
