● Product Description

This is a teapot from WOOD&SONS featuring the beautiful Willow pattern.

Blue Willow is a design imagined and drawn by British artisans inspired by China.
The teapot depicts a scene of a man and woman of different social statuses eloping, with a willow tree, a pavilion, a bridge, and the couple themselves illustrated.

This pattern was produced by various manufacturers, both famous and lesser-known, such as Spode, Wedgwood, and Royal Doulton.

Teapots with the backstamp of a famous manufacturer on the bottom are very rare and valuable.
The Willow pattern from Wood & Sons, in particular, is not commonly seen.

The condition is good for an antique, with no cracks or chips.
There are some scuffs on the underside where it contacts the table, but they are not noticeable.
Please only purchase if you understand and appreciate vintage and hand-painted items.
