Nanko plums from Minabe, Wakayama Prefecture
Size 3L, 2.8kg
Premium grade
These are relatively clean plums with no significant blemishes.
They are in their harvested state without washing to avoid damaging the plums.
There may be insects or debris attached.
When I listed them previously, some people pointed out that they were red, but these are called Kou Nanko and are traded at a high price! They turn a beautiful red color when exposed to plenty of sunlight (*^^*)
Plums continue to ripen, so if shipped at room temperature, they will inevitably turn yellow during transit.
They may also become steamed or damaged due to the shipping conditions.
To avoid this, we recommend refrigerated shipping, although it will be slightly more expensive!
Please comment before purchasing if you would like refrigerated shipping, as the price will be adjusted.
Plums are perishable. They continue to respire even after shipping. While we include extra to account for moisture loss during ripening, please understand that the weight may decrease by more than 10% upon arrival (>_<)
