■About the Artwork
Untitled, 2024 is a silkscreen print from 2024 by KYNE and NONCHELEEE, with their original signatures. This is a collaborative work by two artists currently active and gaining attention in Fukuoka. The signature KYNE is on the bottom right of the artwork, and NONCHELEEE is on the bottom left. KYNE was born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1988. He studied Japanese painting in college and began his activities as a graffiti artist around 2006. Around 2010, he established his style of drawing women against simple backgrounds. He has also worked on collaborations with apparel brands and illustrations for CD jackets, and has been gaining attention internationally in recent years. NONCHELEEE is an illustrator and musician born in Fukuoka Prefecture. In parallel with his music activities, he began his illustration work in earnest in 2014. He has been responsible for many signboards and product illustrations for restaurants and tableware brands, and is gaining attention both domestically and internationally. In 2017, they opened their atelier and shop ON AIR together.
