This is sansho pepper, a rare variety with a strong, spicy flavor favored by connoisseurs.
Pesticide-free.
Great for sansho pepper preserves, chirimen sansho (sansho pepper with dried baby sardines), beef bowls, simmered fish, etc.
Any portions not used immediately can be frozen.
Packaged in a zip-lock bag and sent via Yu-Packet Post.
