It is firmly pickled with only salt.
The water has been removed until it is flattened, giving it a crispy texture.

Please desalt before eating.
Do not completely remove the salt; adjust the desalting time while tasting occasionally to achieve your preferred saltiness.
It usually takes about 3-5 hours.
