To minimize immature grains, a sorter (1.9mm mesh) is used, resulting in large, thick brown rice grains.

Cooked rice has a luster comparable to Sasanishiki.
In terms of taste, it is comparable to Sasanishiki and Koshihikari, with a strong stickiness. It is not as soft as Koshihikari, has a firm grain texture, and retains its flavor well even when cooled.
