Gently dry-wipe with a soft cloth to remove dust and light dirt.
If the item gets wet, blot the moisture with a dry cloth and air dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
If you feel the leather is dry, apply a small amount of leather-specific cream or oil and spread it thinly and evenly for care.
Store in a well-ventilated place, away from high temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight.
...These are apparently the basic principles for maintaining leather items, but don't worry too much about it and use it casually. I believe the dirt and scratches will become part of the unique character of the leather.

As it is made by deconstructing and creating from used leather, signs of wear characteristic of used clothing are visible.
