It is inspired by scenes from an opera set in Japan.
In recent years, this Mikado pattern was revived and re-released as a colorful series.
It is a pattern that has been loved across generations.
It strongly evokes a sense of longing for the East (^^)

Found in a vintage shop in a small town in the Cotswolds in June 2023.
Carefully carried back on an airplane.
These items are approximately 70 to 90 years old.
This is a vintage item in excellent condition with no noticeable scratches or stains. It is a very beautiful piece (^^)
