This is a demitasse cup and saucer hand-painted with a world-famous embroidery pattern developed in the Kalocsa region of Hungary.
It features the Kalocsa traditional pattern, with a gold rim and uniquely shaped, colorful, and charming floral designs.
It is believed to be from around the late 1980s.
Although vintage, it is in good condition.
It bears a strong resemblance to Showa retro pop Noritake Ivory China cups and saucers.
As it is vintage, there are some minor scuffs.
There is no significant damage that would affect use, such as chips or cracks.
