【Product Description】

These are flakes of natural salmon. They are a bit different from salmon jerky (shaketoba).
The characteristic feature is the salmon's inherent umami and sweetness, even without any added salt. While it varies from person to person, once you start eating them, you'll get caught in a loop like with potato chips – you just can't stop!

They are perfect not only for making dashi broth but also for various other dishes, such as sprinkling the granular parts on egg-over-rice or ochazuke (rice with tea).

The flesh has some thickness and is satisfying to eat. We are selling these as reason for discount items because they tend to break easily and turn into granules. *It seems they break during transport.*

However, since salmon products sell very well in our shop, we decided to offer this item as well.

But if we don't clearly state the reason for the discount, and considering the texture is different from salmon jerky, we hope you will give it a try with that in mind.

*Originally, these are delivered to the workshop in bulk (in a dried and flaked state). Even at that point, it seems a large proportion of fine granules are delivered. We have been investigating this, and if we receive too many granules, we intend to stop selling them.*

*Currently, the workshop is conducting various research to resolve the issue with the granules.*
*However, given the recent rise in salmon prices, even with a higher proportion of granules, they seem to be reasonably priced.*
*For the reasons mentioned above, we will be selling them as reason for discount items, including the granular parts, for the time being.*
