Description
This is a teacup and saucer set from Meissen (MEISSEN), a renowned German porcelain manufacturer, featuring their eternal bestseller, Blue Onion. This versatile set is suitable for both tea and coffee.
The cup is marked with the model number 00572 on the underside, and the saucer with 00562. This is a highly popular model, convenient for enjoying both tea and coffee.
This is a very rare **first-quality piece** as indicated by the absence of any scratches or cuts on the crossed swords mark on the backstamp.
**Condition:**
- There is a faint, barely noticeable stain on the saucer's surface, likely from storage (please refer to the 9th photo).
- Other than this, there are no chips, cracks, or noticeable scratches. The white porcelain retains its luster, and the overall condition is excellent.
Each piece is hand-painted by artisans, making it a unique item with its own distinct character. The crossed swords mark, a symbol of authenticity, is also painted within the design.
**Size:**
Cup: Diameter approx. 8.5 cm / Height approx. 6.5 cm
Saucer: Diameter approx. 14 cm
