Our Bizen ware begins with crushing the clay from Bizen.

It is not fired in electric, gas, or kerosene kilns.
Once a year, for about 2 weeks, the fire is kept burning continuously
at the kiln at temperatures around 1200 degrees Celsius,
and fired slowly.

It is removed from the kiln after 10 days, lightly polished,
hand-washed, checked for water leakage, and then shipped.

We hope you will enjoy the unique texture of Bizen ware
by seeing and touching it, and also the changes that occur
as you use it over time (^人^)
