YOUBI Hinoki Armchair Easy Sofa Red C

YOUBI
Our goal is to create things that make life more enjoyable for people. We aim for beauty in utility, not just for display, but filled with ease of use and enjoyment. When we genuinely create what someone desires, beauty in utility is born. Nishiawakura Village, where YOUBI's workshop is located, is 95% forest, and its over 1,500 residents live in a basin at an altitude of around 300 meters. The village has made a bold decision: To nurture the trees planted 50 years ago for future children and grandchildren into magnificent 100-year-old forests. It is now a renowned success model for regional revitalization, blessed with clear streams and nature. YOUBI has also strived for manufacturing that eventually becomes scenery, primarily using cypress wood nurtured in this land. Japanese cypress, white, light, beautiful, and used in architecture since ancient times. We want to continue creating Japanese furniture that connects generations, using this globally rare material.
