Description
This is a handmade wooden sign.
It is made by joining two cedar boards, each 70cm tall, 21cm wide, and 2.3cm thick, with hinges.
It is a freestanding, stand-type sign.
It is written with Open and Closed (or Preparing).
The font used for the characters is Toryu (闘龍), a popular font used in the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
The boards were sanded, lightly scorched to bring out the wood grain, colored with brown paint, and then coated with urethane varnish.
The letters were written thickly with oil-based paint.
Finally, another coat of urethane varnish was applied.
