?? What is Ceramis? It's a granular clay made in Germany called Ceramis Granules, produced by firing clay. It's sterile, odorless, and excellent in breathability, water retention, and drainage, making it a very clean soil for indoor gardening. Even those who don't want to bring soil into their homes can easily enjoy indoor gardening.

?? Watering
Water when the surface of the Ceramis is dry. It grows better if kept slightly dry, avoiding water pooling at the bottom of the pot.

Recommended for those who are hesitant about growing houseplants in soil indoors.
Will insects appear?
Will it become unhygienic?
You can rest assured with hydroponics, a soil-less cultivation method.

?? Benefits of Hydroponic Cultivation
* Sterile, clean, and odorless
* Less prone to insects
* High decorative value
* Economical as Ceramis and hydro-balls can be washed and reused multiple times
* Versatile container options (using glass containers makes it easy to see the water level)
* Easy to manage with less frequent watering

?? Disadvantages
* Houseplants may not grow very large (some may see this as a benefit...)
* Requires fertilizer and ion-exchange resin material
* Root rot preventative needs to be washed or replaced approximately every 6 months to 2 years!
* Although it seems beginner-friendly, it will die if the mechanism isn't understood.
*Note*
The crucial difference between soil cultivation and hydroponics is that in soil, microorganisms and bacteria decompose waste products from plant roots. In hydroponics, this decomposition must be done chemically. This is where ion-exchange resin material is necessary.
