Each year, as wine is produced, it is repeatedly topped up with reserve wines from previous years, creating a Perpetual Reserve that blends elements from numerous vintages.
Henri Giraud was one of the first in Champagne to adopt this method, and it has been maintained across generations to this day. Nurtured in the optimal aging environment of underground tanks located on the banks of the Marne River, the accumulation of vintages melds a variety of aromas, resulting in a soft texture and a rounded flavor.

PR 90-20 is made using 100% of this precious reserve wine. It is a blend of two types of Perpetual Reserve (from 1990 to 2020): the cuvée for the Perpetual Reserve started in 1990, which is usually used for F?t de Chêne MV, and the cuvée for Esprit Nature, which started in the 1950s.

It has a fresh, vibrant, and wonderful acidity, with a pleasant minerality. The subtle oak aging also tantalizes the palate.
Aromas of grapefruit, dried orange, and chalk with a hint of clove. It is bright, lively, and full of powerful energy, with a dry, tense, and refined wine-like taste.
