A producer with 11 generations of history since 1786. Currently owns 15ha of vineyards in Oestricher Doosberg and Lenchen. Depending on the characteristics of each soil, Doosberg produces magnificent dry wines, while Lenchen produces wines with residual sugar. 83% is Riesling and 17% is Sp?tburgunder. They focus on and value the quality of Q.b.A. and Kabinett class wines.
The renowned Doosberg vineyard in the village of Oestrich is 120m above sea level with a moderate south-facing slope.
100% hand-picked. Gently pressed whole clusters and naturally fermented. Aged on lees for 16 months using the sur lie method.
