[Description]
This is high-quality Mizunara oak from my local Hokkaido, which I use for my work. I source it directly from lumberyards. Hokkaido Mizunara oak is becoming increasingly scarce, and due to procurement restrictions, it is rare.

This product is made from the leftover pieces after cutting. Since this wood was not specifically purchased for these Mizunara oak sticks, I am selling them at a low price, not considering material costs.

They are carefully shaped to prevent wood chips from entering your whiskey.

As cutting and charring take time and effort, I am listing them little by little.

[About Mizunara Oak]
It is called Mizunara (water oak) because of its high water content. Whiskey aged in Mizunara oak barrels is gaining global attention for its oriental aroma reminiscent of sandalwood and agarwood (e.g., Yamazaki, Ichiro's Malt, Chivas Regal).

Charing (burning) carbonizes the wood, and when it comes into contact with whiskey, it is said to generate sweet flavor components, including vanilla notes.

[How to Use]
Wipe lightly with a damp cloth.
Add 1 stick per 700ml bottle, or to your preference.

Recommended for use with younger whiskies.

This is considered a handmade craft item.
While we take great care for hygiene,
if any abnormalities are observed, please discontinue use
and discard the stick along with the alcohol.
