Description
This is a handmade wooden sign.
Two cedar boards, 48cm tall, 24cm wide, and 2.5cm thick, are joined with hinges.
It can stand on its own and folds up.
It features illustrations of a cat holding Open and Getting Ready.
The boards were sanded, lightly scorched to bring out the wood grain, and then colored with brown paint. The surface was coated with multiple layers of urethane varnish.
The text and illustrations were applied thickly with oil-based paint.
A final coat of urethane varnish was applied for finishing.
