◆ Characteristics of Old White Tea

◆ How to Brew Old White Tea (Lao Bai Cha)

? Basic Brewing Method
1. Warm the teapot (gaiwan/cup).
2. Add tea leaves and inhale the aroma.
3. Gently pour hot water along the inner wall of the teapot (gaiwan/cup).
4. For aged tea (Chen Cha), rinse the leaves lightly for about 3 seconds.
Adjust the steeping time according to your preferred taste.

◆ Brewing with a Zisha Teapot (Purple Clay Teapot)

1. Place 1 pack of tea leaves in the teapot.
2. Pour 80ml of hot water into the fairness pitcher (cha hai) and divide into teacups.
3. Pour 300ml of hot water into the teapot and let it steep for about 3-5 minutes.
4. Transfer to the fairness pitcher and pour into teacups.
5. For subsequent infusions, gradually increase the steeping time.

◆ Boiling

Boil 1 pack of Old White Tea directly in water for about 3 minutes.
Let it cool to around 70°C (158°F), then add rock sugar or honey and drink while hot.
It can also be enjoyed chilled in the summer.
