I cultivate many Monsteras as a hobby.
In the unlikely event that a leaf becomes damaged, a Monstera can sprout new shoots if the stem, node, or growth point remains intact. While white leaves are beautiful, they are honestly more delicate than green leaves.
If you take care to avoid stagnant air, lack of light, excessively low temperatures, and overwatering leading to rot, I believe it will change again as the temperature rises in spring.
