Ficus benghalensis is a popular member of the rubber tree family, widely used as a houseplant.
It is also known as the Bengal banyan.
Its beautiful, egg-shaped, small leaves with white veins on a white trunk are stylish.
The surface of the leaves has fine hairs, giving them a velvety texture. In India, it is considered a sacred tree and is popular as an auspicious houseplant.

A word from our staff:
We have received a very thick benghalensis grown in Okinawa. This is a large benghalensis that is rarely available.
This benghalensis has been selected and sourced from a producer who creates exceptionally beautiful tree shapes nationwide. We highly recommend it for those who appreciate quality.

Normally, this is a large benghalensis in a 10-inch pot. However, shipping for a 10-inch pot is very expensive and would be a burden on our customers, so we have planted it in an 8-inch pot. A 10-inch pot would cost over 20,000 yen, but we are offering this 8-inch pot at a bargain price.
