Tillandsia concolor 'Red Prince'

Tillandsia concolor ‘Red Prince’

This is a cultivar of T. concolor, native to Mexico. It grows much larger than the species and its inflorescence branches out during flowering, turning a solid ruby red. Unlike the species, whose inflorescence has green mixed in, this cultivar is characterized by its vivid, solid red color. The leaves are stiff, narrow, and form a sharp rosette shape, with beautiful light green foliage. During the flowering period, the entire plant turns red and Momiji, showcasing an inflorescence of ruby red that is considered one of the best among Tillandsias. ? This is a rare cultivar that is not widely circulated.
