Description
Neoregelia rubrifolia
Photo Date: 2026.05.25
This is a species plant. It turns red and develops stripes with just 1-2 hours of direct sunlight.
Full direct sun all day isn't ideal... Finding the right light balance for Neoregelias is tricky.
It will turn green in low light, but will color up again when exposed to light.
My experience is for reference only; the fun of Neoregelias is finding the best spot for them in your own environment.
You can also create a chandelier-like display.
