This is a vintage Kantha quilt from the villages of Bengal, India. Each piece is filled with a mysterious charm that tells a story. This is a good quality piece with fine stitching.

Personally, I feel that for art crafts or long-term use items, pieces with stitching of 5mm or less are preferable. It's just my amateur opinion, haha.

★★ Apologies for the many laundry drying images! I washed it for this listing. The bed images are for illustration purposes only. It has not actually been used (it didn't suit my family's taste...). Personally, I think it's very cute. I especially like the small floral parts, which create a rare flowerbed-like pattern, unlike the many Kantha quilts with stripes or square bases. The contrast between purple and beige is lovely.
