Design: This lidded vessel features a design of auspicious Pine, Bamboo, and Plum painted in a deep, vibrant indigo blue (gosu) on white porcelain with delicate brushstrokes. Signature: There is a signature in cursive script on the bottom. The style and brushwork bear a very close resemblance to the kilns of Kakiemon Sakaida. Craftsmanship: The lid has an intricately carved openwork hole in the center, showcasing very careful handiwork.
