【Brand New, Unused & Untouched by Water】Hagi Ware Tsubaki Hide Kiln Tea Ceremony Set (Teapot & 2 Teacups) Cherry Blossom Pink Ceramic Tea Strainer

This is a tea ceremony set from Chinshu Kiln, a prestigious Hagi ware pottery in Yamaguchi Prefecture, carefully stored at my family home.
As I don't have the opportunity to use it, I am listing it for someone who can appreciate the texture and value of Hagi ware.

■ Condition
This is a completely unused item. It has never been used with water (mitousui), so you can enjoy the Seven Transformations of Hagi (changes that increase in flavor with use) from the very beginning.

■ Features and Appeal
Color: This item features a beautiful, soft cherry blossom (pink) gradient, unique to Hagi ware. The warm expression (gohonde) peeking through the white glaze is captivating.
Special Teapot: It features a ceramic tea strainer (Ceram mesh) with holes directly in the body, rather than a metal mesh. This allows you to brew tea that preserves its original flavor and is delicious.
Proof of Craftsmanship: The bottom of the pot has strong marks from being cut off the potter's wheel (itokiri-ato), showcasing the individual craftsmanship of the artisan. The small pinholes on the surface are due to the breathing of the Hagi ware clay and are not defects, but part of the traditional texture.
