This is an unused item that has never been used for its intended purpose (e.g., storing tea leaves). However, please be aware of the following points as it has been stored for a long time:

Bottom/Exterior: There is a Pure Copper (純銅) stamp on the bottom. There are minor scratches from storage and discoloration characteristic of copper (round marks and color changes due to age), but these are not rust or significant damage.

Tea Caddy Lid Scuff Marks: Although unused, there are faint scuff marks in the overlapping areas due to opening and closing the lid for inspection and storage.

Kensui: No noticeable damage, ready for immediate use.

We hope to pass this item on to someone who can appreciate the craftsmanship of handmade items and the deepening patina of copper with use.
