This is a discontinued Kaikado tea canister that was found at my grandmother's house. It has some minor dents and scratches, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such imperfections.
The inside is clean and it seals tightly and smoothly.

The inner lid is a kuchidome type that seals the opening of the canister.
Torikomi-bon refers to a chabitsu, which is a lidded container for storing a set of tea ceremony utensils.
Tea canisters for torikomi-bon are slightly smaller canisters designed to fit inside this chabitsu.
