My grandmother used it as a tea caddy. Please note that there is a tea leaf scent. The pure copper scoop is also included.

Kaba-zaiku uses natural tree bark, so each design is unique. Please understand this before purchasing.

This is a tea caddy and tea scoop (chami) from Kakunodate, Akita, made with Kaba-zaiku (cherry bark craft). There may be some minor scratches and dirt. There are some scuff marks from opening and closing on the metal parts. There is a slight deformation on the lid, but it closes all the way down and is fully functional.
