The 'Koutoku' variety is a very delicious apple that is rich in honey and has a strong sweetness with little acidity. However, compared to other varieties, it is smaller and tended to have inconsistent quality at the time.
Therefore, it was rarely available on the market, and at one point, the number of growers almost disappeared, bringing it to the brink of extinction. That's why we use branches from this apple, also known as the phantom apple (o^^o)
