Controlled Pottery, Name 30, Blue and White After-Hand Teapot, 8cm
This is a kyusu (Japanese teapot) made of controlled pottery. It is marked 30, which corresponds to the Nagoya area, Seto ware, and similar designations. The fact that it is a controlled pottery kyusu with a side handle is unusual, making it a rather rare item.
There are no noticeable cracks or chips. The mouth may appear chipped, but it seems to have been finished this way since firing, as it is covered with glaze.
Width: 8cm, Height: 7.2cm, Height to top of lid: 10cm, Length from handle to spout: 14cm
