Description
Grown on a mountain in Izumo, Shimane Prefecture.
We use only homemade rice husk charcoal and rice straw as fertilizer, with absolutely no pesticides. We only use spring water from the mountain, which is safe to drink, for irrigation.
Since cars cannot access the farm, there is no concern about exhaust fumes.
We also eat these ourselves regularly, in dishes like tempura and keema curry.
Harvested on May 5th.
Packaged after being sun-dried for five full days.
We are offering these at a lower price due to the large amount of crushed leaves that occurred during packing!
