This perennial plant is a real eye-catcher, perfect as a focal point in your garden, and can be enjoyed for almost the entire year. It produces spike-like flowers from early summer to summer and grows into a large perennial, often exceeding 1 meter in height, making it ideal for spacious gardens. Planting it as a focal point in your yard or flower beds is highly effective, and it's commonly used in English gardens.

The flowers bloom from June to August, featuring a striking contrast between the purple calyx and white petals. The calyx remains for a long time even after the flowers have faded.
The leaves are also very attractive, with a glossy, deep green color and deeply serrated, jagged edges. Because of their beauty, these leaves have been loved since ancient times and are still used today as the Acanthus motif in architecture, wallpaper, carpets, furniture, and more. You might have unknowingly admired the Acanthus motif on antique items.
