Gagyu Kiln: Set of 2 Guinomi (Sake Cups/Small Teacups)

Gagyu Kiln is the only kiln in Japan that preserves the tradition of Utusugawayaki (Utusugawa ware), and it has been designated as a Tangible Cultural Property of Nagasaki Prefecture.
Utusugawayaki, renowned for its elegance, comparable to Nishikiyaki of Kyushu, was treasured by the public but disappeared from the world within half a century of its founding in the Edo period, becoming a legendary pottery. This kiln was revived by the previous owner, the 12th generation head of the family, and since then, they have continued to explore the possibilities of Utusugawayaki while also challenging new styles.

This is a set of two guinomi (sake cups/teacups) with beautiful gradient colors on a wave pattern.
They have been stored on a shelf without being used, so I have decided to put them up for sale.

There are no noticeable scratches or stains, and they are in almost pristine condition and have been almost unused. However, please understand that they are pre-owned items due to being stored by an amateur.
Those who desire new items, are sensitive, or seek perfection should refrain from purchasing.

There is no original box, but they will be carefully packed to prevent breakage during shipping.

★Size: Diameter approx. 7cm, Height approx. 6cm
Please note that there may be slight errors due to amateur measurements.
