These pieces are individually fired in kilns by Kiyomizu-yaki potters.

Gold Leaf Kenzan: A luxurious design based on the style of Ogata Kenzan, a renowned potter from the Edo period, adorned with gorgeous gold leaf and gold accents.

Kikyo (Bellflower): Refers to the bellflower, one of the seven autumn flowers, which is the theme of the vessel and its design.

Artist's Signature (Rakkan): Made by Kaho.
Features the artist's signature and a vermilion seal (rakkan seal).
These are high-quality crafts meticulously handmade by skilled Kyo-yaki artisans and Kiyomizu-yaki potters.

Vessel Features: Sophisticated Two-Layer Design: The upper part is densely decorated with a beautiful indigo-dyed geometric pattern, Nami-mon (standing waves/Japanese waves), a traditional Japanese motif. The lower part transitions to a calm, reddish-brown飴釉 (ame-yu, iron glaze), highlighting the bold and modern design characteristic of Kenzan replicas. Kenzan Utsushi (Kenzan Replica): A distinguished vessel that faithfully reproduces, or modernly reinterprets, the rust-colored painting (sabi-e) and colorful approach of Ogata Kenzan, a leading Rinpa school potter and painter of the mid-Edo period, using contemporary Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki techniques.
